Join us as we fight to end Domestic Violence, Homelessness, and Systematic Traumas against Black Women.
Founded in 2011, The House of Kadence is a faith based, culturally specific nonprofit organization which caters to Black Women who are victims/survivors of domestic violence, homelessness and/or the effectives of the Child Welfare System. Our Mission is to assist each woman we work with as they journey toward self-advocacy, self-sufficiency, and self-autonomy by providing culturally responsive services for Black Women and offering resources, education, safety planning, community referrals and more.
Our vision at The House of Kadence is for all Black women to live their lives free of violence, systematic abuse, and trauma in the state of Michigan.
Our core values at The House of Kadence are courage, collaboration, diversity, equality, integrity, compassion, and respect.
