Crowns & Chucks 2024 ~ Saturday, October 26, 2024

I usually don't attend events like this because it seems I always leave feeling bad and sad, but I did not have that experience at Crowns and Chucks 2023! I feel so good, lifted, and supported. Girl, I don't even want leave and want more! I can't wait until next year and I am so happy my cousin invited me this year!

Wow! Is all I can say about Crowns & Chucks!! I loved this!  My Swag Bag, Yes Please.! I will be more intentional about my self-care and using my voice to advocate for myself and sisters.

Each year Crowns & Chucks gets better and better!! I enjoyed myself, almost cried my lashes off, learned that I'm a Survivor, and my pelvic floor will get stronger! Thank you, House of Kadence, for your support!

The knowledge I gained from this event opened my eyes to see that I am not alone. My experience is not my fault, and its ok for me to heal in the open. I am bringing my mother next year!

I loved the energy in the room. As soon I entered the space, I could feel the love, peace and healing. When I first came, I wasn't sure what this event was, but now I know that I will be at this event every year! I Loved IT!

From the program to the speakers, the food, vendors and give-a-ways! Crowns & Chucks was the perfect event to close out Domestic Violence Awareness Month 2022! Healing from systemic traumas, and emotional traumas, learning tips and tools to help the next person heal was priceless to me. Fight, Flight, Freeze and Fawn! I learned today.
