The McGregor Fund is a Detroit-based private foundation established in 1925 by Tracy W. McGregor and Katherine Whitney McGregor. For nearly a century, the Fund has remained committed to strengthening communities by investing in organizations that support individuals and families experiencing crisis, poverty, and housing instability.
With a strong focus on the Detroit region and surrounding counties, the McGregor Fund supports initiatives that promote housing stability, economic mobility, and recovery from trauma—helping individuals move toward long-term self-sufficiency and well-being.
The House of Kadence is proud to announce that we have been awarded a grant from the McGregor Fund to support our Bridge Housing Program.
This funding will allow us to provide housing assistance and supportive services for survivors of domestic violence and their families in Detroit and surrounding communities as they work toward safe and stable living environments.
At The House of Kadence, we recognize that leaving a violent situation is only the beginning. Long-term stability requires access to safe housing, financial support, and ongoing advocacy.
This investment strengthens our ability to support survivors on their journey toward healing, self-sufficiency, and independence.
We are grateful for the support of our funding partners, including the McGregor Fund, for their commitment to supporting communities across Detroit and surrounding counties and for recognizing the importance of this work.
We remain committed to expanding our programs and ensuring that survivors have access to the resources they need to rebuild their lives safely and sustainably.
The House of Kadence is honored to partner with the McGregor Fund in advancing critical support for survivors of domestic violence and their families. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that individuals have access to safe housing, stabilization resources, and pathways toward independence.
Through this investment, we are able to expand our impact and continue providing trauma-informed, survivor-centered services that prioritize dignity, safety, and long-term success.
